Your Beliefs

Our beliefs are based around the conditioning we have received in life.  The most significant of which, for the majority of us, we received in our earliest years.

This ultimately goes toward building our identity, which is an essential part of who we are.

It is through this conditioning and our belief system that we create the experience we have of our lives.

To try and illustrate this.  I am sure we can all think of examples where the same challenges have faced two different people, but whilst to one it was all doom and gloom, to the other it is was an opportunity to learn and to take their life on to further heights.

So simply,  it boils down to changing this conditioning, and we can change our beliefs, and ultimately the quality of our lives

Many of us do not realise that we can change that conditioning…

“I am who I am”, is a typical reaction.

Absolutely!! That is a very important and valid statement, but are you who you want to be?  Or are you simply reacting to your conditioning, and effectively living someone else’s interpretation of the world?

You may have heard about ‘The Law of Attraction’, or ‘manifestation’, or one of the many other names it goes by.  You may have experimented with it in your life.

You may wondered why it doesn’t appear to work for you!!

In reality, it IS working for you, but it is based on your conditioning.

If you were brought up to understand that ‘life is hard’, or ‘money is evil’, for example, then your conditioning will continue to manifest evidence of that.

In the first example, life will continue to throw you a challenge at every corner.

In the second example, you may associate people with money as being evil.  You know that you are not evil, therefore life makes sure you never have sufficient money to put you in that category!!

I am still learning how to explain how to change your conditioning. In the mean time, someone who truly knows how to teach this lesson is Bob Proctor, who appeared in the movie “The Secret”.

In his teachings of the “11 Forgotten Laws”, he helps us understand how we can change that conditioning.
