Our thoughts
With appropriate thoughts, finding the motivation to work on the other areas of food, exercise and rest gets much easier.
I would go as far as to say, it is the appropriate thoughts that make the others possible.
We all know people who set wonderful New Year Resolutions to go on a diet, or to exercise regularly. But by the end of January, they are full of excuses, such as they don’t have the time. You may be one of them. I certainly was!
Excuses
As I have learnt more, I have gradually come to the realisation that there is little difference between a ‘reason’ and an ‘excuse’. We are ultimately just being dishonest with ourselves and justifying it with a ‘reason’.
And, finally:
Don’t try to do every thing at once. Set yourself small incremental targets that you know you can achieve.
